I will not go to anyone else for my painting needs as I can always count on Doug to do a very professional job. He works quickly and always cleans up, never leaving a mess. My entire condo has been painted by him twice over the years and I've never been disappointed. My 40 foot long balcony gets battered by the weather on the 16th floor, but his paint jobs keep it looking pristine. Doug is also quite adept at any handyman job you throw at him and he's always the one I call. When my aunt who lives in the same high-rise was flooded from a broken pipe from the unit above, Doug handled all the drywall repair work. When all the work was done, it looked as if nothing had ever happened. Hard to find someone as professional and trustworthy in the area.

We've been using Doug Knickerbocker's handyman company for a couple years now, from very small jobs to much larger ones. Most recently, he installed porcelain tiling for us in our kitchen and dining room, a pretty large 5-day task.
Doug has always been on-time, done flawless work, and charged fair prices. I recommend his services without hesitation. Plus, he's one of the local guys in the Beulah Street corridor.
If you're looking for some handyman work in the Kingstowne area, I don't believe you'll find any better than Doug. A+ all the way.

We have been using Knickerbocker Decorators for the last 3 years. They are reliable and do a great job. They installed the backsplash in my kitchen, painted many rooms in my house, and made other repairs. They installed ceiling fans and outside lights.

Doug Knickerbocker stands out as best handyman ever. He is so smart. A great problem solver. Efficient. Totally neat and totally honest. I just needed a beverage center put in, though my fridge didn't fit the space he figured out how to add a wine rack and matched the stains perfectly. He is a problem solver as much as a fixer. He also takes intitiative. He is reasonably priced and a super sweet man who loves my dog and cat and they love him which means a lot. I hired a mr. handyman once when Doug was busy and could instantly see the difference in ability and quality. brilliant honest highly skilled multitalented...I can't recommend him highly enough!!! He has been my go to guy for interior and exterior work for the past 15 years. He just knows what needs to be done...and what doesn't . Integrity!!!!!
